We welcome guests on board with refreshments, a safety briefing and tour of the vessel before setting sail for secluded anchorages and white sandy beaches. We spend our first evening with fresh fare on board and explore our surroundings among the thousands of tiny islands along our coast, heading North or South depending on our guests wishes.
Every day starts with a fresh breakfast prepared on board, before we embark on the adventure of the day, choosing between freediving, kayaking, or hiking with picnic lunches. Upon returning to the yacht, guests relax and enjoy spectacular scenery from comfortable quarters with delicious food and drink. Dinner is either prepared on board, using ingredients caught fresh or gathered during or our voyage, or enjoyed on one of the many island destinations. In the evenings, we enjoy a cocktail hour on board, or head to the beach for bonfires under the midnight sun.
Our 3-night voyages take guests along two alternative routes, sailing from Herøy along the Helgeland coast. The Northern route includes the island wilderness of Åsvær, where we anchor surrounded by pristine natural beauty, and the iconic Lovund and Træna islands with both protected harbors and wilderness coves. When sailing South, guests first visit the Husværarchipelago, before sailing on to Vega, Torghatten, and Brønnøysund and the fantastic Svang restaurant. Depending on weather and guest preference, we choose to spend our nights in either protected harbors or wilderness coves.

Seasons
Spring
March - May
Springtime in Helgeland, spent between glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and the Norwegian Sea, is unique. Our Spring voyages offer world-class skiing and snowshoeing surrounding the Svartisen glacier, in addition to kayaking, diving and other water activities. Migratory birds frequent the coast on their way to arctic nesting grounds as the days grow longer and warmer.
Summer
June - August
Summers along the coast are dynamic. Guests can fish, kayak, hike, and dive under the midnight sun surrounded by untouched fjords, islets, and sandy beaches. Some days are hot and sunny, while others are best spent under the sea free diving or kayaking in a dry suit. We alternate between nights spent in secluded anchorages and visits to fine-dining restaurants situated along the coast.
Fall
September - November
Nature’s bounty comes to life during the fall. Produce from Nordvær’s farm is fresh and ready to bring on board. We move North through the season, meeting up with pods of orca whales in Northern Norway. The Northern Lights return each year in full force as we sail through protected coastal waters.
Winter
November - February
Nordvær sails through the Christmas season, surrounded by Northern Lights, blue mountains, and protected shores. The low hanging sun extends twilight for hours each day during this surprisingly mild season. When Nordvær sets sail again in February Helgeland is transformed, with snowy mountains ready for winter adventures as each day grows longer.
