"Nordvær is not only a catamaran - it is a floating paradise! We had the best time sailing in the middle of winter with kids.
Marte‘s homemade warm bread and Eric’s cooking of the cod we caught, will be hard to forget. The warmth of this experience can not only be attributed to the excellent heating system of the boat but also to Marte, originally trained as a logistic engineer but also a chef and experienced sailor and to Captain Eric, also a national cross-country skier, geology professor, diver and chef.
You feel that the life of the sea in harmony with nature is a true passion of this charming and very professional couple. An unforgettable holiday we recommend in any season! "

"Our week aboard Nordvaer in Helgeland with Marte and Eric was truly wonderful. The menu was well thought out, the ingredients carefully sourced and the standard of cooking was extremely professional.
There was plenty of room on board - the cabins are light and airy with plenty of storage and the communal spaces are generous and comfortable. Marte and Eric were the perfect hosts. During the week they shared their expert knowledge of the area, taking us to some stunningly beautiful and awe-inspiring places. As well as looking after us so well on board, they accompanied us on exhilarating treks and guided us kayaking and swimming with patience and good humour. During all of these activities, and throughout the week, they were lovely to be with - interesting, friendly and easy-going.
It’s impossible to pick a highlight as every day showed us something new and unforgettable from waterfalls, glaciers, seals, eagles, sailing down fjords to seeing a spectacular display of the northern lights. Everything was magical on board Nordvaer."
